So, today's pretty thing Thursday is going to be a little different, but I'm super excited about it and here's why.... So today, I went to the post office because I've been expecting a Pampered Chef box. I was super excited when I looked through the little window of my mailbox door and saw the yellow piece of paper indicating that I had a box. To my surprise, when I opened up my mailbox, there was not only one, but three yellow pieces of paper. I figured two were from pampered chef and one was probably the new CS5 and lightroom programs I had ordered. So I went to the window to get my boxes. The first was my a pampered chef box, the second was another pampered chef box, and the third...well, ladies and gentlemen...the third was a box labeled "Violet Crumble"! To know how excited I was to see those words on that box you have to know the history behind me and my relationship with Violet Crumble. It was back in college when I was first introduced this love of mine. Lenny, a good friend of mine from Hawaii gave me a Violet Crumble bar to try since I had never had one and after the first bite I took...I was in love. It's this super yummy thing that melts in your mouth covered in chocolate. I seriously don't know how to describe it except it is the best candy bar I've ever had! It's originally from Australia, but was also sold in Hawaii. I had been looking for this candy bar for that past year and a half along with my cousin Dana. Then a little while ago, I had found that it has been discontinued.... BUT! I found a website that still sells them...and don't worry, they are not expired! Lol.... Ok, so when I had originally ordered it about a year ago, I got an email that said they were out of stock, but they would send me the box when they were back in stock. So of course I had forgotten all about it and was very nicely surprised when I got that box today. So I know it's not exactly a "pretty thing" but it definitely was a beautiful site to see when I saw those words on the box.
Ps. Dana, I will be sending you a few so keep a look out for it!
