Fashion Friday

So, I am starting another weekly post and as you can see from the title, it has to do with something that I absolutely love...fashion! A famous question that a lot of clients ask photographers is " What should I wear??" There are many answers to this question and I will be giving my two cents every Friday here on my blog. Since I am having a maternity shoot in a couple of days, I will be focusing on what to wear for my "Baby Love" sessions. Here are a couple ideas that I have come up with....

First we have a dress. It's cute, simple and the color is gorgeous! Simple designs are great depending on the location of your shoot like, the beach, park, open fields, etc. This particular dress can be found online at Motherhood.

Next we have a cute little top with some low rise maternity jeans. I prefer this type of jean for maternity shoots, as opposed to the ones with the stretchy elastic that goes around the belly, because if I want to get belly shots, we can simply lift up the shirt and then we don't have to worry about "hiding" that stretchy part.

For our last piece, I have chosen a cropped cardigan paired with a plain tank top. Cardigans are great on maternity shoots since they can easily expose the belly without exposing other areas that we don't want exposed. This can also be paired with our low rise jeans above.
