I created Ally Wiseman Photography in 2009 after a year of messing around with a DSLR. However, the love of photography started way back when I was younger, around my middle school years. I didn’t do much with photography during that time or even in high school, only spending one year on the yearbook staff. It wasn’t until my junior year in college when I really began spending more time taking photos. This was in part due to my major in Communication (Multimedia). I was able to take photographs for my college’s newspaper and was also a member of the yearbook staff during my senior year. My love of photography really came to blossom after having my engagement photos taken by Suwanee Lennon. She so easily captured what I wanted my engagement photos to convey and that’s when I definitely knew that that’s what I wanted to do. I wanted to capture those intimate moments shared between couples. Those fleeting moments when a child is still a child, smiling, laughing, and playing with their parents. I want to capture it all. Beauty, innocence, glamour, pride, joy, love…life.
