Happy Easter and a 3 Week Vacation!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend! We ended up going to church with my family and having a nice lunch at my parents house. Jaycen also got his first Easter basket from his grandpa and grandma today!

On another note, I will be out of town until the beginning of May so I apologize in advance if I do not reply to your emails right away. We will be in Kentucky visiting Josh's family. I will respond to any emails whenever I get the chance.

Mistakes can be Beautiful

To those who feel discouraged or kicked in the faced...no matter what your passion may be. Don't let anything stop you from what you love. The greatest entrepreneurs are those who made mistakes along the way and learned from them and picked themselves up. If mistakes were never made, we wouldn't have cures for diseases or super yummy foods like chocolate chip cookies and potato chips, or even life changing conveniences like the microwave, ink jet printer, and post-it notes. So with whatever you're doing, if you're making mistakes and learning from them along the way, you're doing it right. Eminem puts it perfectly, "I want to solidify as an artist and show that as I grow as a person and make mistakes and learn from them, I'm going to grow artistically."

This is one of my favorite mistakes.

Life

I know it's been a long time since my last blog post. Let's just blame good ole fashion "life" for my lack of posts. Life has gotten so much busier since having the little man, going back to work full-time, and trying to keep up with my photography. But I'm definitely not complaining. I feel so fulfilled with everything that's going on in my life and couldn't be happier. This is definitely the time of my life. And since the time of my life seems to surround my baby boy, what better way is there to end this post with some of his photos that I've taken throughout the past few months!

These were taken last Thursday when he turned 14 weeks. He was hanging out watching his daddy play a PS3 basketball game.

...And it starts. He sure does love the TV.

Kindell Maternity Session

I'm back!! This was the first session since taking a break to have my wonderful baby boy and I must say, it feels good to be back behind the lens doing photo sessions!

Ashlee and Jack announced their pregnancy a few weeks after we had announced ours and I was super excited to hear their news. I was even more excited when Ashlee asked me to do her maternity photos. I was glad I was actually able to do her photos since I had just had baby Wizini and didn't know if I would feel up to doing them.

The shoot was only a mini session, but we were able to get a few good shots in. Here are a couple of my favorites.

I Would Like to Introduce...

Timothy Jaycen  "Jayce" Wiseman! If you're wondering where I've been lately, this will explain everything. I've been preparing for a special little boy. Then this special little boy came into my world on December 15, 2011 at 8:01 pm. What mothers say is definitely true. That you never really know love until you have a child. I love Josh with all my heart, but when I had my little boy...everything changed. I would do anything and everything to keep him safe. He is my world now. A part of me that I will love and cherish forever.

And now, I would like for you to meet Jayce....

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

So, I've been "missing" for a while, but I have a good excuse.... I was getting ready for a baby and then I had a baby! I haven't posted anything on baby Wizini yet, so this will be the first time I show him off to you all! I didn't have time to send out Christmas cards, so this will have to suffice. I hope everyone enjoys their Christmas with family and friends!
