Okay, so maybe it's not a sweet song that keeps Georgia on my mind, but it is something sweet. Something uber sweet and oh so delish! As some of you might know, I spent about four and half years attending college in Georgia. One thing that being in Georgia exposed me to was southern food. And I loved it. All. With the exception of grits. My roommate and friend Liz introduced me to something that I think is native to Georgia (maybe, I'm not sure, so don't quote me on that). The Praline. I'm not sure if you would call it a cookie, but that's the kind of shape it takes. It's pecans cooked into this yummy creamy sugary buttery like "fudge" substance. And. It. Is. To. Die. For. It's safe to say that ever since I left Georgia in December 2006 to move back here, I've been craving it. So when a coworker of mine said she was going to Georgia, I asked her to bring some back for me. Success. My craving has been fulfilled. For now.
XOXO
Happy Wednesday!
